Part of the appeal of running The Auburn Observer through Substack is the email newsletter format. However, emails can only be a certain length.

A lot of you asked questions for this week’s Aubserver Mailbag, so I can’t waste much space with the intro. Let’s jump right into a mailbag that goes deep on the Tigers’ offense and includes a lightning round of basketball questions.

With three games in the bag, looking at where this team is going into Week 4, I am fairly confident of what would be the most successful strategy for this team to win games. I know our strategy going into this season was Nix spreading the ball everywhere and to everybody, becoming an explosive wrecking ball of an offense.  This team has not shown it is capable of that, and our front line defense players are quite good, but we do not have quality depth.  This defense can be exposed much easier than years past.   

To win games, in my opinion, we really to need to play 10 yard…
