This win really felt like lipstick on a pig. To see the offense perform like that against such a statistically poor defense was embarrassing, in my opinion. At least in the other losses they were good teams. Arkansas didn't even seem to have much of a home environment (on TV at least) to complicate the offense's coordination. Spot on about the RZ RPO call and the only offensive TD was an incredible grab by Coleman, so it's not far-fetched to say if not for him, we may not have had one at all. All of that being said, I am incredibly happy for Ellis, McPherson, and the defense in particular as the bright spots. It's just hard to be optimistic with the offense continuing to look like it does.

I don't think Auburn's approach in the redzone is "overthinking." It reflects very little thought, at least thought based on data, observation, and experience. To the extent it is thinking, it is more like magical thinking.

Would Chris Davis in 2013 count as a full-time defensive player with 2 TDs? He had the punt return TD vs Tennessee and the Kick Six in the Iron Bowl.

so you’re right, and the only reason why I missed that is because the kick six has always been logged weird in stats

How is the Kick Six typically listed in stats? Fumble return TD or something like that?
