This is great stuff. It shows those of us who don’t understand basketball strategy, and never will, how much is really going on within what appears to the untrained eye to be just a spontaneous, free-flowing game. As for me, I’ll just sit back, relax and let Bruce, Burgo and the boys handle the technical stuff, knowing I can come here later for an explanation of what I just watched. Well done!
Great read! I would love to see an in-depth look at how Auburn dominated the defensive side of the ball, especially early on, despite Cryer being a straight baller and carrying Houston in the first half. This win was special; maybe a two-part film room down the line? Auburn’s defense is elite!
Bruce telling the world that Burgo drew up the 2d half offense means we may see him hired away by a mid-major sooner rather than later. Though I’m shocked at how stable his assistants have been all these years, so maybe not.
What an incredible breakdown. I love that a couple of these have to be slowed down because of just how fast the passes are moving to beat the blitz defense. Not only is the passing crisp but you can tell how well coached the guys are out there. They are processing everything very quickly and making split second decisions correctly.
I'll second the desire for a look at our defense too, but I know these take awhile. keep up the great work! Look forward to the podcast later.
You should give your brother a raise for that breakdown Ferg.
That was a very deep dive and for those of us who are just fans, y'all explained it so even I in my very limited knowledge could understand.
he was definitely the brains behind this operation

This was exceptionally well done
Stuff like this is what made me a subscriber. Thanks Justin (and bro)!
Thanks for the still shots with players highlighted. That is very helpful for those of us who don’t always know what we are looking for.
Can’t get this analysis anywhere else!
Enjoyed it. Keep up the great work.
