This will be another busy offseason as the Tigers look to make serious improvement in Year 3 under Hugh Freeze. Keep track of it all here.

It’s time for the fifth annual edition of the football roster tracker here at The Auburn Observer.
Over the next several months, this post will be updated hundreds of times, tracking every incoming and outgoing move on the Tigers’ roster for the 2025 season. Transfers, high school signees, draft declarations and JUCO recruits — all of them will be covered right here, position-by-position. Go ahead and bookmark it.
This tracker will evolve a ton over time, but this initial edition is broken down into four parts: potential returners for the 2025 season, confirmed departures, commitments/signees and a quick outlook for each position.
Two important things, as always: First, this is not an official scholarship count. With the amount of changes coming to college football rosters this offseason with new rules, getting to an 85-man count really doesn’t matter anymore. It’s a true arms race.
Second, I’m not a recruiting expert. Any reported targets listed with each position group are thanks in large part to the reporting of the excellent recruiting writers for 247Sports, Rivals and On3. (For recruit rankings and visit info in this piece specifically, I will lean on the public 247 database.)
As always, if you want to dive deeper and get the full scope of Auburn recruiting, I highly encourage you to subscribe to those sites and support their work.
This is a live overview of what’s going on at each position, and, again, we’ll try to keep this updated through the transfer windows and the signing periods.
Both the tracker and the actual scholarship chart are for subscribers, who can access them by clicking the button below.
