A closer look at Billy Napier as a candidate to be Auburn's next head coach
Update: Napier *wasn't* the most well-known name on the Tigers' list. Here's a breakdown of what he *brought* to the table as a candidate.

Eight days ago, when Gus Malzahn was let go as Auburn’s head football coach after eight seasons, three potential replacements received the most buzz — interim head coach and defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal and Louisiana head coach Billy Napier.
Last week, Cristobal signed an extension to remain at Oregon, presumably taking his name out of the running. Steele reportedly became the top name, which generated quite the firestorm from the fan base on social media and message boards.
