What Auburn football is getting in 2022 defensive line commitment Caden Story
The Tigers' first 2022 lineman commitment under Bryan Harsin has a lot of what the new staff is looking for up front — and he's coming from right down the road.
When Bryan Harsin arrived at Auburn, a lot was made of his vow to expand the Tigers’ recruiting range. Being from the western half of the country, Harsin said in his opening press conference that he would get players from states that normally don’t produce Auburn signees to come to the Plains to play SEC football.
So far in his first recruiting cycle, Harsin has followed through. According to the 247Sports database, Auburn has made offers to recruits from 33 states, many of which have rarely had any Auburn football lettermen. The Tigers have a commitment from borderline blue-chip tight end Micah Riley-Ducker, a Nebraska native. One of their top targets, 4-star wide receiver Darrius Clemons, lives in Oregon.
