The Tigers ended their first full week of fall camp with a big day — the first one in full pads. Here are the top takeaways from a busy day of football on the Plains.

Auburn football wrapped up its first week of fall camp with a pretty significant day Thursday — the first one in full pads.
Offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said earlier this week that “everybody looks good in their underwear,” referring to just how much you can learn about a team before it gets in pads. With the first scrimmage coming up over the weekend, Thursday was important for a team that wants to pride itself on being physical in practices.
Media members got an extended window to watch a very busy individual drill session, followed by some full-contact, good vs. good, hats-on-hats work between the offense and the defense. That was followed by several more player interview sessions, including one with the returning starter at quarterback.
