Before fall camp starts next week, here's an update on the Tigers' top-10 class for 2027 — and a look ahead to a potential pickup for 2028.
We are entering the quietest part of the recruiting cycle. Both college programs and high school teams alike are preparing to hit the field again for fall camp. The start of the season is right around the corner.
Recruiting never truly stops, but the focus now shifts to winning real football games in just over five weeks.
The good news for Auburn is most of the work is done for the 2027 cycle. That doesn’t mean the staff will stop recruiting.
They will have to fight to keep this class together, they will continue to chase after top targets that are committed elsewhere and there’s always a handful of prospects who breakout their senior campaigns to become high coveted targets.
But with 25 commitments and a borderline top-10 class, most of the heavy lifting is done.
So, before Auburn hits the practice field again next week and the 2026 season takes the spotlight, let’s take a look at some of the most recent commits — and misses — along with what work remains for this 2027 cycle.
