After a third straight losing season and an initial winter window of roster and coaching moves, the spring is truly a time to reevaluate everything with Auburn football.
The Tigers will wrap up spring ball Saturday inside Jordan-Hare Stadium, where the annual A-Day Game looks like it won’t be affected by nasty weather like it was last year. While the takeaways from the spring game itself will always be limited, several weeks of practices can be a good guideline to figuring out what’s coming in the fall.
After several open practice viewing windows — including a two-hour one earlier this week — and a lot of interview time with players and coaches, it’s time to take a look at which names stood out to us the most over the last several weeks.
These are the 10 biggest “stock risers” in spring practices. From potential new starters and two-deep fixtures to a crop of freshmen who have separated themselves from the pack, here are the Tigers you might need to become more familiar with between now and when Auburn returns to action in a few months.
