If Auburn does move on from Hugh this season, what’s the outlook with the last 8 years of coaching for us? I felt that this hire had to be it or we enter a hard down period (not that this has been anything but that…) but I just feel that we are going to be left with a depleted roster and lack of enthusiasm for the future. Especially since the search committee seems to really be missing the mark
Great recap. In the past two weeks freeze has said in press conferences about how they may not be scheming plays well and that the team finds ways to lose. At this point in his tenure I’m not sure how that’s not the final straw for people. It’s clearly just not working out and hopefully they try and find a better motivator and play caller for the next head coach.
It was a ref show, but this is three strikes in my book. The first half was great, hard-nosed Auburn football that gave hope. The second half demonstrated no offensive adjustments or fight yet again for a third straight anemic performance. I'm officially convinced Freeze is not it. He has had the time and talent, but is giving no answers, direction, or belief. That indicates a lack of leadership to me and his responses in the post game (and the nature of these three losses) are painful evidence of that.
Ferg, my frustrations w/ the officiating is how disruptive it was to the flow of the game… it’s a horrible product to watch, i can’t imagine what it’s like to actually play in the game.

When Hugh Freeze called that timeout to look for the targeting, I knew we had lost. Horrible leadership that's obviously contagious to the players.
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"
How much Hugh is enough?
