RB Tank Bigsby (Todd Van Emst/Auburn Athletics)

Although it feels like the 2021 college football season has gone by quickly — there are only three weeks left before conference title games! — the end of the 2020 campaign somehow feels like a lifetime ago, especially for Auburn.

Case in point: Remember Auburn’s last game against Mississippi State? Bo Nix and the Tigers’ passing game couldn’t get much of anything done through the air, but Tank Bigsby had the game of his young career with 192 yards on 26 carries. Gus Malzahn danced with his players in the locker room and would be fired less than 24 hours later.
