(Note: You may notice there is no football in this mailbag. As I say often, I am not a news-breaker or a person with a ton of sources — I defer to the good folks on this beat who are. But when I know enough to write about what’s going on, I will. Until then, enjoy this basketball ‘bag.)

Auburn basketball is at the halfway point of the SEC season, and it hasn’t lost since the day before Thanksgiving.

The Tigers are No. 1 in the country, sport a multi-game lead on Kentucky for the regular-season title, and have gone through the toughest portion of their schedule already.

It’s good to be Bruce Pearl and anyone affiliated with his team right now. And this week’s Mailbag reflects that, with plenty of questions about the top-ranked Tigers before their two-game road trip to rival Georgia and the always-tough Arkansas.
