Welcome back to the Aubserver Mailbag. Honestly, is there a better way to wrap up what seemed like the longest week of my time writing about Auburn sports than a special Saturday mailbag?

The last time we ‘Bagged, Bo Nix was still on Auburn football’s roster. The Tigers had one of the lowest-ranked recruiting classes in the SEC heading into the Early Signing Period. The offensive coordinator search still seemed up in the air. The status of several players for the bowl game was unknown. Auburn basketball hadn’t gotten its NCAA ruling on the Chuck Person scandal yet, and no one knew it was about to go through two games without Bruce Pearl.

Between all that, a Birmingham Bowl press conference Thursday and a Saturday night basketball game, today felt like the best time to roll with a Mailbag.
