Welcome to a Monday edition of the Aubserver Mailbag. The start of football fall camp has changed up our regular schedule, but I have to say — I kinda like starting the week with one of these. We’ll do another next Monday, too.

There’s a lot of football stuff to get to this week, so I’m not going to waste too much space up here. But I do want to thank everyone for subscribing and telling their friends about the Observer. We smashed through our long-awaited 800-sub mark this past weekend, which was awesome to see.

I know several of you are new to these. Welcome to the wild world of the Mailbag. Let’s go.

I’m not hearing many projecting Council to a tackle position. Given how good he was last year and his versatility, how likely is it that he starts there over Hamm/Troxell/Jackson et al? My guess at a ‘best 5’ would be Council-Manning-Brahms-Jones-Hamm.
