Ferg is somewhere in a desert — sweet boy.

Understandably, I saw an opportunity to make this week about me. So I invited my friends on the podcast and decided to do a disproportionate amount of Painter content here.

What's the game this year in football that will affect the trajectory of this team most? AKA a won will be a launchpad, but a loss will be a gut punch.

I don’t believe there is one. However, to avoid a total cop out I’ll say this:

I’d listen to someone who said Penn State. It’s in the first month and is the team’s first test. However, there’s something about losing an early-season game to a non-conference opponent that allows plenty of room for correction.
