How big is Auburn’s road matchup tomorrow against Texas A&M? Well, I probably got more Mailbag questions specifically about this game than any single one this season. And it makes sense — the Aggies have turned their season around in a big way, while the Tigers are still in the hunt for the SEC West title.

And how excited are fans for the Auburn men’s basketball season? Well, there were a lot of you who asked about Bruce Pearl’s Tigers and just how excited you should be for the new season, which starts between now and the next Mailbag.

This is about to be one of the most wonderful times of the year to be both a college sports fan and a college sports writer. The stretch run of football and the start of basketball season makes for a lot of work — and not a lot of sleep — but I wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
