Advanced stats showed Roger McCreary would become a household name in 2020. Now, they're saying the same about Pritchett in 2021.

Javaris Davis and Jeremiah Dinson called it.

After one of their last practices as Auburn defensive backs, the two Florida natives fielded a number of questions about the future of the Tigers’ secondary. In completely separate interviews, Davis and Dinson both had the same answer about the young player to watch in 2020 and beyond — Nehemiah Pritchett.

“I feel like he has a very strong skill set, and once he continues to build that confidence, he’s going to be a great corner,” Davis said. “Nobody is really talking about him right now because he’s still young, but he’s going to be somebody to look out for.”

“Long corner, kind of reminds me of Carlton Davis when we were freshmen,” Dinson said. “I see it, man. Long — he'll press you, man. He can touch you without even — like, you’re off the ball, he can still touch you. He plays the ball really, really well.”
