PROGRAMMING NOTE: Auburn-LSU Observations will be delayed
For those of you ready to read the breakdown of Auburn taking care of business at home against LSU on Tuesday night, they'll come later Wednesday.
Good morning. The Observations from Auburn basketball’s home finale win over LSU on Tuesday night will be out later today.
Why? Full disclosure: I was battling food poisoning Monday night and most of the day Tuesday. While I was able to make it to Neville Arena for the game, my rough hydration levels and a lack of sleep — especially for a 9 p.m. CT tipoff — made it impossible to get home and write like usual.
My head was screaming at me not to look at a screen for much longer. So I went straight to bed, and you’ll be getting the usual post later today.
I greatly apologize for the delay, because I pride myself on being able to have a reliable rhythm with our work for y’all. There was just no way I was going to be able to right anything that was decent and/or legible after all that.
We’ll have Observations later today and, if all goes according to plan and I can recover with some actual sleep, a podcast sent out Thursday morning. That’ll be followed by the mailbag Friday morning. Send your questions to the1andonlyJF@gmail.com, or comment below with them here. We can make this a weird mailbag call of sorts.
Thanks as always for supporting The Observer, and thanks for understanding.
This wasn’t my Jordan flu game because a) I wasn’t actually contagious, b) I didn’t actually finish my work and c) I don’t drink at all, so I definitely wasn’t hungover for this one. (Word to MJ Lenderman.)
