Submit your questions for the next Observer Mailbag
This worked well the last time, so let’s run it back.
Howdy. Remember a few weeks ago, when I sent a similar email out for mailbag questions?
Well, I’m doing it again, because it worked pretty well the last time.
You can send me any questions you have from this busy time for Auburn football and men’s basketball in one of three ways:
comment on this post with your question
email it to me at the1andonlyJF@gmail.com
send it to me on Twitter or Bluesky
We’ll have a ‘bag Friday morning, along with a new episode of the podcast, for a 2-for-1 combo for subscribers.
And if you get to this late and just want to submit a question for a future mailbag in the comments, I’ll keep track of them here.
Thanks as always for your support of The Auburn Observer. We’ll have coverage of Auburn vs. Texas in hoops out tomorrow.

In recent years, Auburn has finally broken long streaks of not winning in opponents stadium in 20+ years (@ LSU in football, @ UF, UK in basketball). What’s the next one likely to be broken? At Bama or UGA in football (last wins there were ‘10 & ‘05)? Not sure what current longest losing streak is for basketball
Tahaad is playing heavy minutes, and when he is on the bench the results have not been good. It also does not seem likely that Pearl is going to give Magwood another shot at meaningful minutes. I would like to see Overton pick up the back up point guard minutes. To me it is the choice between Freeman getting more minutes (at the 2) in place of Muchalek (at point). That seems like an easy decision to make. What are the advantages/disadvantages of this idea, and do you think Pearl would consider it?
