CB coach Zac Etheridge (Houston Athletics)

Plenty of Auburn fans remember Zac Etheridge, the player.

A three-star cornerback from Troy in the class of 2006, Etheridge redshirted his first season on the Plains before becoming a four-year starter at defensive back. He suffered a scary neck injury that left him briefly paralyzed during a 2009 game against Ole Miss.

But Etheridge, remarkably, made a full recovery in time to be a captain on the 2010 team that finished the season as national champions.
