Episode 460: Momentous

Justin and Dan break down all the different angles of Auburn basketball's historic No. 1 vs. No. 2 win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Justin and Dan recap Auburn basketball’s historic No. 1 vs. No. 2 victory over Alabama in Coleman Coliseum. They start by looking at Aden Holloway and Mark Sears’ performances against Denver Jones and Tahaad Pettiford — who both made a huge difference in the win for the Tigers.

The guys point out how Johni Broome continues to put in National Player of the Year type of performances, even through injury. They look at how Auburn got balance and depth from almost everywhere on the roster, from Chaney Johnson to Chris Moore, and how Auburn was able to overcome the late foul-outs by Chad Baker-Mazara and Dylan Cardwell.

Towards the end of the episode, there’s a run through all the Saturday action in the SEC and an early preview of Wednesday night’s home matchup against Arkansas. Dan closes out with thoughts on some of his favorite Saturday Night Live performers.
