Episode 439: Ball Up Top

Justin and Dan talk Auburn basketball's tough loss at Duke, discuss football's Signing Day and pay tribute to the legendary Bob Holt.

Justin and Dan are both back in the Wings 94.3 studio after extended travel. They open the show with a look at Auburn basketball’s tough road loss at Duke, starting with how the Tigers should feel after not playing nearly their best but still coming close against an ultra-talented team of Blue Devils.

The guys also talk about Tahaad Pettiford’s continued breakout in big games, why Johni Broome’s second half was so important, some of the issues that Auburn ran into in Cameron Indoor Stadium and an early look at the Sunday home game against Richmond.

The episode ends with a rundown of what happened for Auburn football during National Signing Day and what it means for both the small and big picture of the program. Then, it’s a tribute to legendary SEC sportswriter Bob Holt, who passed away earlier this week.
