Justin, Dan and Painter break down Auburn football’s 27-13 win over Mississippi State. They start with a look at a very different-looking performance from Payton Thorne, Philip Montgomery and the rest of Auburn’s offense in a game that the Tigers needed to help their bowl chances.
The guys look at what’s gotten into Jarquez Hunter over the last couple of weeks and project how sustainable this offense could look over the next several games. They also give their thoughts on Auburn playing a much more conservative brand of football in the second half and how it’s not as huge of the deal as fans might think.
The episode ends with a look at an Auburn defense that keeps finding ways to string together stops, even when things aren’t always clicking on that side of the ball. Happy early Halloween, everyone.
