Justin and Dan stay up to break down Auburn football’s latest loss in a very winnable game — a blown 14-point lead on the road at Missouri.
The guys open with their thoughts on how the Tigers’ offense problems have gone well beyond turnovers and into crippling amounts of inefficiency. Dan makes a point about what might happen if things could turn around toward the end of the season. Justin wonders if Auburn just is what it is at this point in the campaign.
They also discuss the recurring woes on defense and special teams and how they played roles in the meltdown, even if scoring only 10 offensive points in an SEC game was the ultimate killer. They look at what might happen moving forward with the young players and why improved recruiting isn’t a guarantee of anything. The episode ends with a lightning round of Hallmark movies, Kansas City barbecue and North by Northwest.
