Justin and Dan are back after Auburn football’s off weekend. They start by talking about what Justin learned at SEC Basketball Media Days in Mountain Brook this week and how Bruce Pearl’s Tigers aren’t going to sneak up on anybody this season with all the hype they’ve gotten already.
The bulk of the episode is a preview of Auburn’s football trip to Missouri. Dan gives his opinion as to why the point spread between the 5-1 Tigers and the 2-4 Tigers is less than a touchdown. Justin shares why it’s time for Hugh Freeze and his team to deliver on what they’ve been saying repeatedly — in a number of areas.
The guys highlight players they think could see their roles increased in the second half of the season and their keys to Auburn’s chances at an upset in Columbia. After a preview of Week 8 in SEC football, the final segment contains, by far, the most nonsensical subject of discussion in the podcast’s history. You’ve been warned.
