If you dare, you can read this week's Film Room from Auburn's 217-yard performance against Missouri here. But we've also got a link to buy our new t-shirt, too!
I don't see any section dedicated to managing the "outside noise," which is clearly their "biggest challenge."
I am disappoint
Love the film rooms
Justin this format of film review was awesome and a great call for the type of game we had. Thanks for digging up some positivity and nuggets of hope that there’s proof of a path to improvement. Would definitely like to see this review format in the future!
We should - quite literally - never call another straight drop back pass again. The line simply can't block it. Every single play needs options or fakes to at least make the D pause a beat. And can we please get two backs on the field at the same time?
Justin, it seems like much of the running game woes can be attributed to getting bullied at the LOS. As long as Auburn continues to lose hat-on-hat battles in the trenches, the results will stay the same and Auburn will struggle to move the football.
Schematically, I don't know much AU can do to negate a poor OL other than quick slants, WR screens, and option runs. Unfortunately, the coaching staff doesn't appear to have pivoted to accommodate this poor OL play.
Offensive malpractice from Harsin and Kiesau. Just across the board, a total inability or refusal to adjust the playbook to do more of what works.
It's frustrating to watch our guys play like this. They seem so close to having things together and they continue to misfire on crucial plays. It's like this staff is still learning how to play SEC football too.
