As Georgia experts who know more than a thing or two about Auburn football, Jordan Hill and Ben Wolk check in from Athens to preview the 2022 edition of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry with Justin and Painter.
The guys discuss why Georgia hasn’t been overly impressive over the last two weeks and what that could mean for Auburn, particularly up front. They also look at Brandon Council’s eyebrow-raising comments from Wednesday’s press conference as well as where Georgia has changed from the last time it faced Auburn. Ben lays out a blueprint for how Auburn can be competitive. Painter isn’t convinced.
The episode ends with some discussion of Georgia basketball’s hire of Mike White and what Bruce Pearl’s Auburn team might face twice this season on the hardwood, along with a few minutes of a Atlanta Braves NL East championship celebration.
