Justin and Painter recap Auburn basketball’s 80-61 win over Jacksonville State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
They discuss Jabari Smith’s Dunk of the Tournament candidate, the offensive and defensive stats that defined a comfortable win and the overall play of the Tigers’ guards — led by a bounce-back performance from an emotional K.D. Johnson.
After that, they switch to the next matchup, as Auburn faces an undersized but still dangerous Miami team that has some interesting aspects on both ends of the floor. Then they wrap up with some chatter about the rest of March Madness and former Auburn assistant Todd Golden’s hire as Florida’s next head coach.
