Justin and Painter give you their late-night breakdown of Auburn’s 81-68 win over Mississippi State.
They start with a long discussion of the rough spots from the Tigers’ blown second-half lead and what it all could mean in March. Then they switch over to K.D. Johnson’s overtime heroics, Jabari Smith’s ridiculous stat line and the top-to-bottom defensive work that paved the way for the victory.
Toward the end of the episode, they take a look at the rest of the SEC and the constantly evolving race for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament before a brief preview of the regular-season finale against South Carolina.
