Episode 226: A New Era [Mississippi State Game Preview]

Justin and Painter recap Auburn basketball's exhibition victory over UAH before previewing Cadillac Williams' first football game in charge — a trip to Starkville.

Justin and Painter open the show with a breakdown of what they learned from Auburn basketball’s exhibition win over UAH on Wednesday night. They discuss the importance of Allen Flanigan and Jaylin Williams’ big performances, highlight some highs and lows throughout the box score and point out what can be improved before the opener against George Mason.

Then it’s a switch over to football, as Cadillac Williams looks to wrap up a wild week for the Tigers with a strong road performance at Mississippi State. Justin talks about how this isn’t a bad matchup for a first-time interim head coach. Painter wants to talk about Bryan Harsin’s statement and Ole Miss fans.
